Ben Rice is a modern guitarist living in Nashville Tennessee. His roots are in straight ahead jazz but he's also comfortable with modern styles and free improvisation. Lately effects have become a large part of his sound and can be heard in his co-lead free improv project, The Freedom Coalition. Rice is also a painter and stay at home dad.
